EMILY BLUMBERG

Hi! My name is Emily and I graduated from the University of Michigan with a double major in Communications and Creative Writing in May 2024. Currently, I am a Program Coordinator for the Project on Civic Dialogue at American University, an interdisciplinary academic hub for civic engagement and media literacy education. 

 

I am a writer and creator passionate about in-depth storytelling exploring narratives that all too often go untold. Throughout my time at The Michigan Daily, NPR's Michigan Radio and PBS, I have covered everything from new generative AI tools to federal midterm election results to the literary merit of the 2008 Disney movie Enchanted. I am always looking for opportunities to bolster community storytelling and expand my editorial skills. This website serves as a hub for my personal and professional work as a writer, constantly being updated to reflect my current endeavors. ​
